The Vertical came to Delhi on 23 September with a question most IT leaders are sitting with right now: what to do about VMware. More than 70 IT leaders from 50+ organizations filled the room, including teams from the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, Airports Authority of India, Ministry of External Affairs, NTPC, ICICI Bank among others. AWS laid out the path off VMware, Redington brought the partner view, and CloudTry walked through why the move makes sense now and how to plan it workload by workload. The moment that landed hardest came from a customer: Shyam, AI Engineer at YoLearn.ai, shared what migrating to AWS with CloudTry actually changed for them. As usual, the conversations ran well past the last session and into dinner.
